When Nizar's application for political asylum is rejected by the Italian authorities, the young Tunisian turns to pro MMA fighting as a means of turning his life around.
Distrubution & Festivals
Nizar is a medium length documentary. It was selected and awarded in several film festivals worldwide including two OSCAR qualifying festivals, namely Busan SFF in South Korea and IN THE PALACE of Bulgaria. The film was subsequently purchased by the subscription-based online platform WeShort.
